             Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record - Dream_Weaver 909 - fantasy

A book centered around a fantasy take on the "Fab Four," the only Beatles. This tells the (very imaginary) story of how fans got "stuck inside a vinyl record" and then... I won't spoil it. This is very well referenced (all the references are at the back), and there are song titles, lines from songs, and things from the era interspersed throughout. My one (small) criticism is the plethora of exclamation marks, which became rather repetitive and rather annoying at times. That said, this is a fun, quick read-easily read within an evening and will be a trip down memory lane (Or perhaps that should be Penny Lane?) for some. A FUN, ENJOYABLE, and easy read.

BOOK: STUCK INSIDE A VINYL RECORD

REVIEWED BY @pavi.reads   -  Review on Instagram

STUCK INSIDE A VINYL RECORD is an incredibly unique and captivating tale centered around The Beatles, blending fiction, imagination, and a touch of fantasy.

Who are The Beatles?

(The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960, consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. They are widely regarded as the most influential band of all time, reshaping music and counterculture in the 1960s.)

'Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record' sheds a fresh light on The Beatles, presenting a stirring and distinctive story about this beloved band that revolutionized music with their unmatched talent and charisma, leaving a lasting impact on generations.

Written by Dream-weaver 909 (@lecamusg), this debut book takes readers on a mesmerizing journey that transcends boundaries. It not only entertains but also serves as a powerful call for peace, carrying profound philosophical undertones. The narrative skillfully employs pseudonyms and eternal loops, keeping readers engaged and intrigued throughout.

With its lucid language and captivating storytelling, the book delves behind-the-scenes, exploring the individuals who contributed to the band's meteoric rise. Fascinating facts about The Beatles emerge, including the origin of their name and the steadfast styling guideline they adhered to.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this exceptional book, and I highly recommend 'Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record' to anyone in search of a compelling, humorous, and thought-provoking read.

Highly recommended to everyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars  Unique tale

"Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record" by Dream Weaver is a delightful and quirky tale that takes the reader on a magical mystery tour with The Beatles. The story is based on the premise of fans being stuck inside vinyl records, and the band's curiosity leads them on an unforgettable adventure. The book is a universal story that appeals to people of all ages, and it offers a unique perspective on the iconic band.

The book is quite humorous, and it revives some of the most iconic scenes along the Beatles' journey to fame. From the crowded pubs of Liverpool to Beatlemania and the moon, the story takes readers behind the scenes and explores the personalities that made the band so beloved.

The story also reveals interesting tidbits about the band, such as how they got their name and the one rule they would never break when it came to their hairstyles.

Beatles fans will enjoy this imaginative tale.

Ernie's (
treasurer of the British Beatles Fan Club in London) supportive e-mail, which convinced me to publish 'Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record' on Amazon KDP (September 2021):

Hi, Dream_weaver 909,

We have circulated your book via email to our readers.

We have been asked somewhere they can obtain a physical copy and the feedback has been positive.

It is a lovely mix of fact and fiction that can appeal to all ages.

Can you supply us with information as to where readers can obtain a hard copy of the book?

It would be useful if a review is published as well in one of our magazines.

All the Best,

Ernie,

Treasurer BBFC

This unreal journey with Beatle John, Beatle George, Beatle Paul, and Beatle Ringo with a capital 'A' was very interesting. I took advantage of my holiday in Morocco to finally find the time to read your book. Fortunately, Beatle Paul's lack of tinkering skills allowed our minstrels to be ejected from this world, which would have been a pity if they could not exercise their talents again.

Usually, I read autobiographies, mainly of politicians, and books specifically about our 20th-century history. However, your novel distracted me, and I was able to absorb it in just three days.

My congratulations to you. I highly recommend it.

I thank you for your interest in Thurston Howl Publications regarding your work. After carefully reviewing your submission, we have come to the decision to pass on 'Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record' at this time. Although I found the story quite charming and written with a playful tone, I believe there would be a significant amount of work required to refine the language and paragraph structure to achieve the precise intent you had in mind for the work. However, I believe it would work very well as a picture book, which could be marketed to children as well as young adults. We thank you once again for considering Thurston Howl Publications and allowing us to review your work. Please keep us in mind for any future projects you may have.

Best regards, Cedric G! Bacon Managing Editor, Thurston Howl Publications

5.0 out of 5 stars Will certainly keep the reader interested

In 1950's Liverpool, England, three young men named John, Paul and George have formed a band, and are not doing too badly. Playing at a local club called The Cavern, they know that they need a drummer. With the addition of Ringo, The Beatles are born (the "a" in "Beatles" is intentional).

They release some songs, and Beatlemania descends on England. Many letters are received from their fans, reporting that, while playing their music, the fan is suddenly transported into a surreal landscape inside the record. The instant that the music stops, the fan returns to reality. John investigates, and finds that it is real.

Beatlemania gets overwhelming, and the four retreat to a faraway island to get away from it all. The peace and quiet does not last forever, so John has a strange idea. Why not move into the surreal landscape inside their music, a place called Nowhere Land? A record player is hidden, and modified to play their music continuously. Does it work? Do the Fab Four ever return?

Let It Be... Mischief and Magic between book pages once again.

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 2021

You may think this is a simple book, but you will be mistaken! It has nothing to share with the long, boring music anthologies we are used to. "Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record" is like a trip back in time, and a fantastic opportunity to read about the Beatles as you have never before. Told from the perspective of a narrator who knows everything there is to know about the four prodigies from Liverpool, "Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record" is an imaginative tale full of twists and turns, written by an author who is passionate about research and authenticity; an author who has breathed life back to our beloved classics. Cheers to a new favourite "paperback writer" of mine!

The story is interesting, and you provide concrete details (meetings, concerts, recordings, etc.), which gives your tale a good rhythm. The pace is good, and there are twists and turns, as well as touches of humour. The writing is fluid and enjoyable, and the 'anecdotes' are well-introduced. There is a very pleasant sense of fantasy, and it is easy to become engaged with the story. It is true that your writing blends historical reality with the imagination of the tale. That's the magic of it... a man flying through the air becomes quite possible, and we can easily relate to it! I sincerely believe that the readers who come across your tale will be satisfied with the journey you offer them!

On my side, I read the book by Dream_weaver 909, and I had a lot of fun. As the author says so well, this book is not a biography of the Beatles, nor a technical book on the group's discography, but a "simple" novel, a tale to be precise, which features our four heroes as well as the "important" characters who have contributed to the legend as we know it... The situations that our heroes experience are funny, original and hallucinating and transport the reader into an imaginary world that reminds us of Pepperland in the cartoon "Yellow Submarine". I congratulate Dream_weaver 909 once again and encourage him to continue promoting his novel by giving him my well-deserved support.

Working at Rennes University Hospital, located in the heart of Brocéliande, this Beatles fan has dedicated his first novel to the Liverpool quartet. Don't expect yet another Fab Four biography. Dream_weaver 909 puts himself in the shoes of a Beatle and imagines himself among the stars. The writing is lively, and the humor is sharp.

Hello Dream_weaver 909,

I have read your book, and the experience was very enjoyable. The only thing that I found a little heavy while reading was the repetition of "Beatle John," "Beatle Paul," etc. Apart from that, I have read many books on the Beatles, but yours is different since it is a well-written tale. I would have loved to be able to go inside the 45 rpm record with them.

My feedback is entirely positive, and I had a great time reading "Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record."

Hello Gilbert,

Thank you for submitting your work to us. Kelly and I share a love for The Beatles, as does most of the world, and we thought the film Yesterday was excellent. Therefore, the timing of your book was great in terms of our appreciation for the Fab Four.

'Stuck Inside a Vinyl Record' was funny, insightful, and surreal where necessary. We understand that you can't write about The Beatles without using Sgt. Pepper, I am the Walrus, Yellow Submarine references and analogies, and we appreciate how you incorporated them into your story, with Nowhere Land serving as a fascinating way to demonstrate their otherworldly element while keeping it grounded.

You can hear and see their voice and resonance throughout the narration, which showcases your deep understanding of the band and their interactions. Very well done! We would love to work with you, but we have a full schedule until the end of the year, so if you're not in a hurry for publication, that would be great. We would continue working on your title in the background while finalizing the other titles in various stages of publication, and most likely release your book in the New Year. If this works for you, please let us know, and we'll send you a publishing package and draft contract for your review.

Best wishes,
